Scholarships

To ensure the construction industry's successful future, it is imperative for the next generation of leaders to properly prepare themselves for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

The Foundation seeks to provide support, personal and professional development through scholarships for future industry professionals.

Community Service

Building a better Carolinas means more than constructing world-class projects; it’s also about creating safe, thriving communities and healthy, self-sustaining citizens.

The Foundation seeks to lead its members through community service projects, throughout the Carolinas, that help provide uplifting opportunities for our fellow Carolinians.

Training and Education

Providing for the education and professional development of the industry, supports our mission of building a culture of safety and providing innovative continuing education. 

The Foundation seeks to provide continuing education opportunities through its Training and Education Program for members and nonmembers alike.

Grants

The Foundation works to partner with organizations in both North Carolina and South Carolina to obtain grants to provide opportunities that further its mission.  

The Foundation seeks to provide opportunities for the industry by partnering with organizations and community partners on grants.



CAGC Foundation's Construction Business Academy

A business development program designed to strengthen minority, disadvantaged and women owned businesses to ensure their sustainability and growth.

This 12 week program focuses on company growth and development. Students are supported with business coaching and access to technical resources for a full year. Regional Cohorts will be held across NC. Learn more.

CAGC Foundation's Construction Boot Camp

An 8 week course offered at NC Community Colleges that provides a direct talent pipeline from training to job placement and other career pathways.

The CBC prepares students to transition into immediate job placement, higher level skilled trades programs, apprenticeships, internships, and degree programs while learning industry essentials. Learn more.

Foundation Board of Trustees

Description

Purpose: To provide governance and oversight to the Foundation operations, establish the strategic direction; develop policies; monitor the Foundation's financial health, programs, and overall performance; and provide the President & CEO with the resources to meet the goals and objectives.

Mission: To serve the construction industry by financially supporting excellent workforce development and research programs, activities, and services in the Carolinas.
